Just Knowing Brings "Peace Of Mind"

Guardian Alerts is designed for parents to passively keep track of their children. Using GPS and/or Wi-Fi signals, Guardian Alerts will alert parents, via text (SMS or MMS) and/or E-mail messages, when their children arrive at or leave specific locations such as home or school. While these alerts require the child to carry an iPhone with Guardian Alerts installed, the person or persons receiving the location alerts will not require an iPhone to receive them. Any phone capable of receiving a simple text message can receive a Guardian Alerts Alert.

Additionally, Guardian Alerts can send an alert when the iPhone is being turned off or on. This will help parents know when their child can be reached. No more calling over and over again just to be sent directly to voicemail each time.

Also, Guardian Alerts can send Alerts when the iPhones battery charge drops to a user defined level. A second Alert is sent when the battery level drops even further.

To assist in finding a lost iPhone, Guardian Alerts can send an Alert containing the location of the lost iPhone just before it shuts down due to a low battery. Just click the link in the text or e-mail Guardian Alert message to open a map showing where the iPhone was when the battery died.

Guardian Alerts can be password protected to prevent your children from altering alert settings without your permission.

And, to keep in touch with other Guardian Alerts users, whether nearby or on the other side of the world. weve included a free VoIP account. If parents install Guardian Alerts on their own iPhone they can make and receive free calls to their children and anyone else that has Guardian Alerts.

Weve added 2 new major features in Version 2!

Send My Current Location

At Brilliant Apps we value your privacy above all else! We have designed our Guardian Alerts app with that in mind from start to finish. You don’t need an account with us to use Guardian Alerts. Again, there are no subscription fees, ever! The only alert that sends GPS location data to our servers is the optional dead battery alert. The Guardian Alerts app only sends the name of the person carrying the iPhone as you have entered it (Jim, Chris, Kevin, Shannon, etc.), the phone number, carrier, and postal code of the person receiving the alert, and a description of the Alert location (School, Home, Work, etc.). We don’t receive the name of the person receiving the Alerts. And we don’t receive information as to where (GPS or address) the Alerts are about, just that they are named as Home, School, Work, etc.

While Guardian Alerts uses very little of your battery to perform its core functions, use of the driving turn-by-turn directions will consume a considerable amount of battery power. Thus the following statement is required by Apple. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

If you are not receiving alerts you have entered the phone number or email address of the recipient incorrectly. Or, you may have selected the wrong Carrier.

In Australia; Unless your alert recipient is using T-Mobile you must send alerts via email. We are working on a solution to this problem.
